Job Creators Network Slams Harris Plan to Offer Forgivable Loans to Minority Men
Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to Kamala Harris’s plan to offer forgivable loans to minority men:
“Kamala Harris is so desperate to stop minority men from supporting Trump that she is resorting to outright vote-buying. Her proposal to give $20,000 in forgivable loans to black and Hispanic male entrepreneurs is a new low in the history of American political campaign gimmicks. Harris knows her plan is unconstitutional, as a similar Biden-Harris plan to give minority farmers special relief in the American Rescue Plan was struck down by the courts. But she’s proceeding anyway, exploiting minorities’ entrepreneurial ambitions in her get-votes-at-all-costs strategy. It’s shameful.
“More broadly, Harris’s plan is insulting to every black and Hispanic entrepreneur, like myself, who has lived the American Dream through our own hard work without having to depend on expropriated funds from our neighbors. Minority men don’t need charity to achieve our entrepreneurial goals. We just need a free market, which Harris intends to erode with her tax hikes, regulations, and big government programs. Minority men will see through Harris’s ruse, and this effort will backfire. In the meantime, Harris should apologize for this soft bigotry.”
