Job Creators Network Slams Biden for Encouraging States to Slow Reopening

Washington, DC (March 30, 2021) — This week, President Biden said some states should pause their economic reopening efforts.

“Shortly after the election, Joe Biden said ‘I am not going to shut down the economy, period. I’m going to shut down the virus.’ Not surprisingly, Biden is going back on his word again. Promises made, promises broken. President Obama famously told America that ‘if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor’ under Obamacare. You couldn’t. Biden said he wouldn’t shut America down again, now he wants to.”

“Pausing re-openings – when vaccine distribution is in high gear – is going to hurt small businesses after they’ve fought to survive for over a year. Small business owners and their hard-working employees want to get back to work and our nation’s economy needs to reopen.”
