JOB CREATORS NETWORK SLAMS BIDEN FOR CELEBRATING BRAVES’ WORLD SERIES VICTORY TODAY AFTER PUSHING FOR BRAVES TO LOSE ALL-STAR GAME LAST YEAR

Washington, DC (September 26, 2022) — Today, the Atlanta Braves are at the White House to receive congratulations from President Biden for winning last year’s World Series. In March 2021, President Biden urged Major League Baseball (MLB) to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta to protest the Georgia election reform law.  Soon thereafter, MLB moved the All-Star game from Atlanta to Denver, costing the Greater Atlanta area about $100 million in revenue. Job Creators Network (JCN) sued Major League Baseball on behalf of Greater Atlanta businesses for lost revenue.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

“President Biden should be embarrassed to host the Atlanta Braves after he played a major role in costing the Greater Atlanta area about $100 million in revenue. Biden and left-wing activists pressured MLB to move the All-Star Game out of Atlanta, lying about the Georgia election reform law.  MLB caved to Biden and the far left in a pitiful case of virtue-signaling. JCN stood up for Greater Atlanta small businesses when no one else did, suing MLB for costing them about $100 million in revenue.  Biden should apologize to the Greater Atlanta community today, instead of joining them in celebration.”
