Washington, DC (August 6, 2022) – Today, the Senate is expected to vote on the Inflation Reduction Act.

“Democrats should be embarrassed to call a bill that spends hundreds of billions of dollars the ‘Inflation Reduction Act.’  Counting on spending today to save money in the future is like Wimpy gladly paying Tuesday for a hamburger today. Senate passage is assured with Senator Sinema giving it her blessing.  ‘Centrist’ House Democrats should show more courage and vote against it when the bill moves to their chamber.”
