Washington, DC (January 8, 2021) — Today, the U.S. Department of Labor released its monthly jobs report.
“In December, the unemployment rate stayed at 6.7 percent and 140,000 Americans lost their jobs. Prior to the pandemic small business drove this economy because of pro-growth policies, but they were also on the front end of the pandemic-induced recession and they continue to suffer under draconian lockdowns by governors and mayors across the country. The Job Creators Network is putting all elected officials on notice that small business is too big to fail. Today the Job Creators Network is launching its campaign to Bring Small Businesses Back and calling on all Americans to get the Covid vaccine when it is available. A shot in your arm will be the shot in the arm that small businesses need to survive.”
