Job Creators Network Rolls into Troy for Tax Cut Rally
Washington, DC (October 16, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Troy, Michigan today to hear from local business owners and state Attorney General Bill Schuette on how the federal tax cuts have boosted the economy and created jobs.
“The average family in Michigan is saving thousands of dollars a year. That’s a mortgage payment, or a down-payment on a car, or a new appliance,” said Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of JCN. “It certainly isn’t crumbs. The fact is that the tax cuts have ignited our economy, creating record jobs, record investment, and record optimism.”
With most Democrats running for Congress this year promising to raise taxes if they take control, Ortiz reminded voters that the economy is on the ballot this year.
“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited Indiana’s economy,” said Ortiz. “A majority of House members and senators in Washington made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in Michigan.”
