Job Creators Network Responds to September Jobs Report

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the delayed September jobs report, which showed 119,000 jobs created, the unemployment rate increased to 4.4%, and the labor force participation rate rose to 62.4%:

“The belated September jobs number significantly beat expectations, suggesting the pro-growth policies enacted by President Trump and Congressional Republicans are beginning to improve the labor market. The mediocre labor market is largely due to factors beyond the control of Trump and Congress. Artificial intelligence is causing a wave of layoffs at white collar firms, and the affordability crisis caused by the hangover of Bidenflation is causing consumers and small businesses to pull back.”

“The good news is that ordinary workers are experiencing real wage growth, a stark change from the Biden administration. They are also benefiting from this summer’s tax cuts, with tax refunds expected to be the highest ever. Consumers are also benefiting from the lowest gas prices in several years, thanks to the Trump administration’s energy dominance agenda, which is improving affordability and living standards. By doubling down on pro-growth policies, Trump and Congress can power the labor market to new heights in the months to come.”
