Job Creators Network Responds to May Consumer Price Index

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the May Consumer Price Index, which rose by 3.3%, and Core CPI, which rose by 3.4%:

“Stubbornly high inflation continues to accelerate far faster than the Federal Reserve’s target rate and is wreaking havoc on small business owners and ordinary Americans. While inflation has moderated, prices have increased by 20% since President Biden took office, and JCN’s SBIQ national poll of small businesses finds two-thirds of respondents say real inflation is even higher than reported. As a result, consumers face a cost-of-living crisis in which many of the goods and services they rely on have become unaffordable.

“Americans are reminded of this Bidenflation every day and with almost every purchase. As a result, no amount of Democratic spin about the current state of the economy will resonate with voters. The only way to bring prices back under control and meaningfully raise living standards is by electing conservative candidates who will stop the reckless spending and anti-energy policies fueling inflation’s fire.”
