Job Creators Network Responds to March CPI

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to March’s consumer price index, which fell by 0.1% (2.4% year-over-year), and CORE CPI, which rose by 0.1%:

“Thanks to the Trump administration reducing reckless spending and boosting energy production, inflation fell in March for the second month in a row.

“Energy policy is a key factor in the cost of all goods and services and Trump’s moves have created more supply and stable prices. Now it’s time for the Federal Reserve to recognize this new inflation environment and immediately reduce interest rates. Doing so will increase small business access to credit and boost the economy for ordinary Americans still suffering from bad Democratic policies. Meanwhile, Congress must give small businesses certainty by working as fast as possible to extend and expand the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.”
