Job Creators Network Responds to June Jobs Report

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the June jobs report, which shows 147,000 jobs were created last month, the unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, and the labor force participation rate fell to 62.3%:

“President Trump’s economy had another strong month of job creation, with the unemployment rate falling, as Main Street begins to invest for historic tax cuts that could come as soon as today. Federal government employment fell again, and previous months’ jobs numbers were revised up, stark changes from the Biden administration.

“Republican tax cuts will result in a jobs boom in the months ahead, as provisions such as restored, permanent 100% immediate expensing will allow them to expand, hire, raise wages, and reinvest in their communities. The Federal Reserve’s forthcoming (yet belated) rate cuts will also provide small businesses more access to credit, boosting the tax cuts’ economic impact. On behalf of small businesses and their employees, JCN calls on Republicans to get these tax cuts passed today and give America the best July 4 birthday present it could ask for.”
