Job Creators Network Responds to June CPI

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to June CPI, which increased by 0.3% (2.7% year over year) and CORE CPI, which increased by 0.2% (2.9% y/y):

“Inflation remains low thanks to the Trump administration and Congressional Republicans’ pro-growth policies. Last month’s slight uptick is mostly due to higher energy prices resulting from geopolitical concerns and will quickly revert due to the Trump administration’s pro-energy policies and deregulation. More broadly, the Big Beautiful Bill’s expansion and permanence of small business tax cuts will make it easier for Main Street to bring new supply to market in the months ahead, putting further downward pressure on costs. Given price increases were in line with expectations and still close to the Federal Reserve’s 2% target, the Fed should cut interest rates to boost access to credit and give even more momentum to American small businesses.”
