Job Creators Network Responds to July Consumer Price Index

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on the July Consumer Price Index, which rose by 0.2% (2.9% year over year), and Core CPI, which also rose by 0.2% (3.2% year over year):

“Inflation has finally moderated, but this is no reason to celebrate. Price increases are cumulative, and they come on top of the historic inflation the economy has already experienced under the Biden-Harris administration. Due to the reckless spending and anti-energy policies of Biden and Harris, inflation has increased by more than 20% since they took office. In other words, the value of the dollar in American pocketbooks has declined by around one-fifth. As a result, ordinary Americans and small businesses face a cost-of-living crisis.”

“Making matters worse, the Federal Reserve has had to increase interest rates to a 22-year high to combat this historic inflation, reducing consumers’ and entrepreneurs’ access to credit. A Harris presidency would reignite high inflation through its tax-and-spend agenda and be the final nail in the coffin for much of Main Street America.”
