Job Creators Network Responds to Gallup Poll Showing Declining Support for Capitalism

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on new Gallup polling showing declining support for capitalism:

“The latest Gallup poll showing declining support for capitalism is the result of the lack of free market champions in today’s public discourse. While socialism is advanced in government, schools, media, and popular culture, proponents of capitalism are too afraid to speak out for fear of sounding heartless or politically incorrect. 

“As a result, too many Americans are unaware that capitalism is not only the most effective economic system the world has ever known—lifting billions out of poverty, fostering innovation, and driving opportunity—but it is also the only moral system. It is rooted in individual rights, private property, freedom, choice, and limited government. It is the only system that allows tens of millions of small business owners to achieve the American Dream. 

“Capitalism urgently needs an unapologetic public service campaign to get the message and undeniable history across that socialism takes and capitalism creates.”
