Job Creators Network Responds to February Consumer Price Index

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on February CPI, which rose by 2.4% over the last year, and Core CPI, which rose by 2.5%:

“Official inflation numbers are low and under control thanks to President Trump and Congressional Republicans’ pro-growth policy, including tax cuts, deregulation, and spending restraint. The spike in gas prices due to the Iran War would have been much worse without the Trump administration’s drill-baby-drill energy policy that has dramatically increased domestic energy supply. As a result of the war, we anticipate next month’s inflation report to be higher, but it should be a temporary shock, and the underlying health of the economy remains strong and can endure it. Inflation has long been one of the biggest problems affecting American families and small businesses, and the Republican agenda is making ordinary life as affordable as possible.”
