Today’s price increases are compounding on the highly elevated price levels that already exist due to the historic inflation that occurred during the first three years of President Biden’s term. Contrary to the media spin, the moderation in the inflation rate is no victory for ordinary Americans and small businesses facing a cost-of-living crisis. The only way to truly bring inflation under control and finally give Americans relief from price hikes is to rein in reckless government spending bidding up prices.
