Job Creators Network Responds to Biden Administration Hispanic-Serving Institutions Initiative
Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the Biden Administration’s executive order strengthening Hispanic-Serving Institutions:
“President Biden’s executive order strengthening Hispanic-Serving Institutions is a distraction from the real issues facing Hispanics in this country. To meaningfully help Hispanic students, the Department of Education should instead pursue universal education freedom, which would provide students with a lifeline to access good schools. This policy would especially help Hispanics who are more likely to be stuck in underperforming institutions. Unfortunately, the Biden administration prefers teachers unions to parents rights. As a result, Hispanics are migrating from the Democratic Party to Republicans. Biden’s executive order is merely an attempt to keep Hispanic votes. It is window dressing that won’t obscure this reality.”
