Job Creators Network Reacts to September CPI

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on the September Consumer Price Index, which rose by 0.3% (3% year over year), and Core CPI, which rose by 0.2% (3% Y/Y):

“President Trump and Congressional Republicans’ pro-growth policies have successfully tamed inflation. Gas prices, which impact the living standards of so many ordinary Americans and small businesses, are at their lowest levels in several years and a far cry from the bad old days during the Biden administration. Low inflation, tax cuts, and falling interest rates are propelling a strong economy that the media is purposely missing.

“Yet Democrats’ refusal to reopen the government threatens this progress. The Schumer shutdown is stopping record Small Business Administration loan activity and hurting the countless small businesses that depend on federal government contracts and activity. Democrats need to stop holding the Main Street economy hostage and pass Republicans’ clean continuing resolution to ensure Trump’s economic train continues on the tracks.”
