Job Creators Network Reacts to Retail Sales Report & Unemployment Claims Report

Washington, DC (July 16, 2020) — New data reveals that retail sales rose 7.5 percent in June while the number of first-time unemployment claims was 1.3 million last week.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN)released the following statement:

“Week by week, we are getting back to normal, thanks to President Trump’s leadership and our small business community. While Joe Biden wants to spend $2 trillion on ‘clean energy’ and AOC wants to boycott Goya Foods, the President is doing the heavy lifting to reopen society. Prominent physicians agree that it’s time to safely reopen society, and that’s why the JCN Foundation is continuing to push the ‘Flatten the Fear’ campaign. Additionally, we need a temporary, targeted payroll tax cut for businesses with less than 100 employees. The President called for a payroll tax cut months ago and now it’s time for Congress to act.”
