Job Creators Network Reacts to Kamala Harris Platform

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on Kamala Harris’s new platform:

“Kamala Harris is lying to the American people in a desperate attempt to get votes when she claims her platform will lower taxes for the middle class, grow small businesses, and lower energy costs.”

“In reality, Harris plans to repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which lowered taxes for the middle class and small businesses. The absence of these tax cuts and the addition of $5 trillion of new taxes Harris promises will grind small business creation to a halt. Her plan to enact a massive refundable child tax credit is not so much a tax cut as a de facto universal basic income that will discourage work and economic growth.”

“Her radical green agenda, including support of the Green New Deal, puts burdensome new regulations on traditional energy, reducing supply and boosting costs for consumers. Due to Biden-Harris energy regulations, US oil production is millions of barrels per day below former President Trump’s pre-Covid baseline. Harris’s platform gives new meaning to the word Orwellian.”
