Washington, DC (December 12, 2022) — Tomorrow, The House Economic Disparity and Fairness Committee is releasing a 30-minute documentary on economic disparity. The film, Grit & Grace: The Fight for the American Dream, is scheduled to premiere on Dec. 13 at the National Archives.
Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement:
“The new House Democrat documentary showcases people from all backgrounds striving for the American Dream, yet the film ignores the best way to achieve it: through a vibrant, free-market economy. In my forthcoming book, The Real Race Revolutionaries, out next month, I argue that the government should do less, not more, to promote economic opportunity and overcome racial income inequality. Empowering small businesses, not the government, is the best way to help ordinary Americans like those featured in this film.”
