Job Creators Network Reacts to Dr. Fauci Stepping Down

Washington, DC (August 22, 2022) — Today, White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci announced that he will be stepping down in December. Dr. Fauci was more or less viewed as the face of America’s national pandemic response during Covid, in large part due to his frequent media interviews and press conferences

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“At long last Dr. Fauci is ‘retiring,’ ending his career in the White House as the highest paid U.S. federal government employee and taking with him a retirement pension that exceeds President Biden’s annual salary. Maybe he was just ready to move on, or maybe the thought of Republican House (and possibly Senate) was enough to make him step down before being held accountable for his actions.

“While Fauci is walking away with millions, countless small businesses had their livelihoods destroyed by forced closures, unconstitutional mandates, and ever-changing covid rules on the whims of Dr. Fauci. The economic destruction caused by Fauci is untold, even now 56 percent of small businesses are still at risk of closing due to lasting economic conditions. When looking specially at minority and female-owned businesses that number jumps to over 70 percent. Those Americans who were put into financial ruin didn’t do anything wrong. They ran their businesses as best as they could, struggling and sacrificing for their employees, and continuing to do so.

“Only in the world of political liberal elites can one man destroy the livelihoods of millions, amassing a fortune along the way, then sail trouble-free into retirement. For numerous small businesses they’ll remember Fauci as the one who destroyed everything they worked for, for others, they’ll remember him as a warning to never again let one man have the power to close the economy. For us, we’ll remember him as a partisan hack, a destroyer of small businesses who traded their livelihoods for personal gain.”
