Job Creators Network Reacts to Biden Plan to Tackle Coronavirus

Washington, DC (December 8, 2020) — Today, Joe Biden announced a three-part plan to combat the coronavirus pandemic in the first 100 days of his administration. Biden is emphasizing “masking, vaccinations, opening schools. These are the three key goals for my first 100 days.”

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN)released the following statement:

“We are nearing the finish line in this hellish pandemic, and the main reason for that is ‘Operation Warp Speed.’ President Trump launched this initiative and it’s poised to deliver vaccines with 90 to 95 percent effectiveness for every American who wants one. While President Trump was pushing the bureaucracy to remove all unnecessary obstacles to approval, Biden was hiding in his basement and hoping people wouldn’t remember that he called President Trump’s China travel ban ‘xenophobic.’ If Biden wants to build on President Trump’s success with vaccinations, that’s fine and we can all support that. But he should also follow Trump’s lead when it comes to ‘flattening the fear’ and reopening society. America’s small business community is hurting, with a new wave of government-imposed lockdowns. Democratic Governors and Mayors are shuttering businesses while ignoring the rules they impose on others. Biden should be calling on people to safely reengage with society and condemning politicians who take the attitude, ‘lockdowns for thee, but not for me.’”
