Job Creators Network Reacts to Biden Economic Speech

Washington, DC (September 9, 2020) — Today, Joe Biden spoke about the economy during a campaign stop in Michigan. The Job Creators Network recently launched a campaign called Keep America America, the biggest conservative get out the vote campaign in history, to warn voters about the consequences of Biden’s policies like the dramatic tax increases he proposed today.

“In his speech in Michigan today, Joe Biden announced tax policies that would once again make American companies uncompetitive on the international stage. Biden promised to reverse President Trump’s tax reform that brought the corporate rate in-line with developed-world standards so that American companies would no longer be unfairly punished. Trump’s tax cut led to a historic economic, financial, and labor market expansion as job creators had more money to hire, expand, and raise wages. Yet Biden’s proposed tax increases on businesses structured as corporations would return the country to the bad old days of foreign takeovers and corporate inversions that he presided over as vice president. Rather than making U.S. companies uncompetitive with their foreign competitors, including those in China, Biden should adjust his tax reform proposals to better suit the real world, not the basement where he and his socialist advisors confine themselves to. To keep America America, voters must reject these massive tax hike proposals.”
