Job Creators Network Presents Woodall with Defender of Small Business Award

Georgia small businesses are grateful for lawmaker’s courageous vote on Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

Washington, DC (October 22, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Georgia today to present U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall with its Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.

“The average family in our area is saving $2,700 per year. That’s mortgage payment, or a down-payment on a car, or a new appliance,” said Woodall. “It certainly isn’t crumbs. The fact is that the tax cuts have ignited our economy, creating record jobs, record investment, and record optimism.”

Elaine Parker, JCN Chief Communications Officer, thanked Woodall for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.

“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited Georgia’s economy,” said Parker. “Rob Woodall made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in Georgia.”
