Job Creators Network Praises USMCA Breakthrough

Washington, D.C. (December 10, 2019)— Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats have reached a deal with the Trump administration on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), clearing the way for Congress to vote on the historic pact.

Job Creators Network President Alfredo Ortiz released the following statement:

“For over a year, JCN has been pushing Congress to hold a vote on the USMCA because we know it will significantly boost America’s economy, and especially our small business community. Of the 300,000 American companies that export, 98 percent are small businesses.  President Trump and his administration deserve tremendous credit for not only negotiating the USMCA but leading a multi-faceted campaign to hold Congress’ feet to the fire.  Today, that long-term strategy paid off.  We thank Speaker Pelosi for recognizing the importance of the USMCA and turning this historic pact into a bipartisan win.  We have waited long enough for this deal to happen so let’s get this bill to the desk of the President for him to sign by Christmas.  The best days for America’s economy are still to come.”
