Job Creators Network Praises Senate Passage of PPP Extension

PPP Will Get $311 Billion in New Funding

Washington, DC (April 21, 2020) — Today, the Senate passed a $484 billion pandemic relief package, which includes $311 billion in new funding for the Payroll Protection Program (PPP).

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Networkreleased the following statement:

“Job Creators Network commends the Senate for approving additional funds for the Paycheck Protection Program. The nation’s small businesses need and deserve the extra support in this time of national crisis. Local businesses drive the U.S. economy and will lead the way during the eventual recovery. The House must convene as soon as possible, vote for the aid package passed by the Senate and send it to President Trump for his signature.”

On April 14, JCN sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer urging them to work with congressional Republicans and pass a PPP extension immediately. To read JCN’s letter, click here.
