Job Creators Network Praises House Passage of USMCA

Washington, D.C. (December 19, 2019)— Today, the U.S. House passed the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a historic trade deal negotiated by the Trump Administration.

Job Creators Network President Alfredo Ortiz released the following statement:

“Thanks to President Trump, America is experiencing its best economy in half-a-century.  Now, America is poised to start enjoying the benefits of one of the President’s biggest accomplishments: the USMCA.  With the House passing the USMCA today, we are one step closer to a free-trade agreement that will benefit American exporters, the vast majority of which are small businesses.  Once enacted, the USMCA will create 176,000 new jobs and increase GDP by $68 billion, according to the Internal Trade Commission.
