Job Creators Network Praises Agreement That Will Provide Badly Needed Relief for Small Businesses
(Washington D.C.) — Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the agreement reached by congressional leaders and the White House on COVID Relief including a substantial boost to the Paycheck Protection Program for Small Businesses.
“This agreement is great news at an extraordinarily difficult time for small businesses across the country but this deal could’ve been reached months ago were it not for the contemptible and indefensible gridlock exercised by Nancy Pelosi. There are businesses that went under and could’ve been saved had she not stonewalled this agreement for so long; many others are on the brink of folding when they could’ve been recovering. We appreciate the hard work by President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for refusing to give in to the senseless, extreme demands of the left and keeping the focus where it should be: COVID relief and the small businesses that are the backbone of the American economy.”
