Job Creators Network Places Bus Shelter Ad Outside NLRB General Counsel’s Office, Calls For Government to Support Small Business

“Hey NLRB: Shouldn’t Government Support Small Business?”

ATLANTA, GA – Today, the Job Creators Network (JCN) announced the placement of a bus shelter advertisement outside the offices of the National Labor Relations Board’s General Counsel in Washington, DC. The move is part of an ongoing advocacy campaign by JCN aimed at defending the franchise system that is under threat by the NLRB General Counsel’s “joint employer” recommendation.

The NLRB General Counsel recently recommended that franchisors be considered “joint employers” with their franchisees, a significant shift in labor law that would increase the barriers for entry into the franchise market and negatively impact tens of thousands of small business owners around the country.

“If the NLRB General Counsel won’t listen to America’s small business owners, we’ll continue to post their message right outside his office door,” said Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of the Job Creators Network. “The NLRB’s overreach of the businesses that provide real jobs and real opportunities for the middle class is unacceptable. We’ll continue the campaign to Defend Main Street until the General Counsel backs off his recommendation and ends the threat to America’s franchise system.”
