Job Creators Network on Debate: Democrats Reach a New Low for Economic Hypocrisy

Washington, DC (November 20, 2019) – Tonight, MSNBC and the Washington Post hosted a debate between 10 Democrats running for President.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCNreleased the following statement.

“The Democrats keep promising to give away things for free – free healthcare, free college education, even free bikes – but they never discuss the economy itself – how to keep our economic momentum going, building on the success of President Trump’s pro-growth policies.  We are experiencing the best economy in half-a-century, but if you listen to Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and the others, this is not a reason to celebrate, but a problem to be solved through government spending and regulation.  Their far-left proposals are the definition of hypocrisy and, if enacted, they will send our economy into a tailspin.

We see the Democrats’ hypocrisy with healthcare too.  Pete Buttigieg is a prime example, claiming that his healthcare plan, ‘Medicare for All Who Want It,’ is superior because it gives people a choice whether or not to enroll in the program. But his plan, better known as the ‘public option,’ is just a Trojan Horse for ‘Medicare for All.’ No private company can compete against the government, which means that private insurance will eventually collapse.  So nearly 200 million Americans will lose their private insurance – either immediately under Warren and Sanders, or gradually under Buttigieg and Joe Biden.”
