Job Creators Network on Debate: Democrats Keep Pushing Far-Left Policies but Struggle to Defend Them

Washington, DC (July 31, 2019) – Tonight, CNN hosted its second debate among the Democrats running for President.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN) released the following statement.

Twenty Democrats talked for five hours over two nights and yet they were silent when it came to helping America’s job creators and their employees. There was a lot of talk about redistributing wealth, but no talk about how to create it.  And that’s not a coincidence, because it’s clear to everyone that President Trump’s pro-growth policies are working. What’s not working is our healthcare system, otherwise known as Obamacare, and even most Democrats admit that. But their solution, whether “Medicare for All” or the “public option” will just mean higher taxes, higher costs, and worse care. When it comes to healthcare, and all segments of our economy, we need to empower the private sector and rein in government.  Socialism takes, capitalism creates.
