Job Creators Network on Debate: Bloomberg Fuels Dem Clash on Capitalism vs. Socialism, Healthcare

Washington, DC (February 19, 2020) – Tonight, NBC News and the Nevada Independent hosted a debate between six Democrats running for President.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN) released the following statement.

“This was a feisty debate, with the Democrats starting to feel the pressure of the primary calendar.  Mike Bloomberg made the first defense of capitalism in any debate this year, while predicting the Democrats would lose badly if they continue to attack capitalism. Healthcare remained a central flashpoint, with Bloomberg joining the so-called ‘moderates’ in pushing for the ‘public option.’ What Bloomberg and other ‘public option’ supporters won’t tell you is that the ‘public option’ is just a Trojan Horse for ‘Medicare for All,’ which means it will cancel private health insurance for nearly 200 million Americans. The Culinary Union’s opposition to ‘Medicare for All’ is a flashpoint in the Democrats’ civil war over healthcare and that debate will only intensify going forward. The JCN Foundation is pushing hard for ‘Healthcare for You‘ – the patient-centered alternative to ‘Medicare for All’ based on the most extensive healthcare research ever conducted.”
