Job Creators Network Members to Attend White House Ceremony Celebrating USMCA Passage
Washington, D.C. (January 29, 2020)— Today, Job Creators Network (JCN) President and CEO Alfredo Ortiz and JCN member Nicole Wolter will be joining President Trump for the White House ceremony celebrating the passage of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Ms. Wolter is president and CEO of HM Manufacturing in Wauconda, Illinois. She released the following statement:
“As a small business owner, I know firsthand how the USMCA will benefit my business and the US economy. The manufacturing company I own exports cutting-edge components to our North American neighbors. We were thrilled when President Trump pledged to bring NAFTA into the 21st century, striking a new deal that puts American businesses and workers first. President Trump kept that promise, negotiating an excellent deal with Canada and Mexico. Then he led a multi-faceted campaign to hold Congress’ feet to the fire and ratify the deal. I’ve been proud to be a part of that effort, working with Job Creators Network leaders and members. With the USMCA taking effect, my small business is poised to export more, hire more, and thrive.”
