Job Creators Network Member to Speak at White House Event on Small Business Loan Program

Dr. Chris Stansbury will attend event with President Trump; available for interviews

Washington, DC – Today, April 28, Dr. Chris Stansbury, co-founder of West Virginia Eye Consultants and former member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, will speak at a White House event with President Trump about supporting the nation’s small businesses through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

“President Trump and his administration have been incredible advocates of America’s small business community throughout this health emergency,” said Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of Job Creators Network.  “Aided by the PPP, small business owners will keep America’s economy running and fuel our recovery once the pandemic is over. We thank the President for recognizing one of our members, Dr. Chris Stansbury, who is a powerful example of what the PPP can and will achieve.”

Dr. Stansbury recently wrote an op-ed that was featured in Townhall where he discussed his experience with the PPP and the lifeline it has been for small businesses, saying:

“By offering loans with a simple application form, the Trump administration is allowing us to keep our rent and our almost 60 employees paid during this time of economic disruption… The Paycheck Protection Program provides businesses with needed cash and, more importantly, helps us retain our workers. It is impossible to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus fully, but this program will keep many businesses open that otherwise would have folded.”
