Job Creators Network Member Honored As Senate Small Business of the Week

Washington, D.C. (June 15, 2021)—Last week, Sen. Rand Paul, Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, recognized Bluegrass Family Wellness as the Small Business of the Week. The Kentucky-based direct primary care practice is owned by Dr. Molly Rutherford, who is a member of the Job Creators Network (JCN).

Rutherford has worked with JCN to advocate for healthcare reform rooted in the free market—a campaign called Healthcare for You. She has also weighed-in on the harm posed by over-the-top pandemic lockdowns, especially on children, and how middlemen have jacked-up the cost of prescription drugs.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

Dr. Rutherford not only wears two hats as a practicing physician and small business owner, but is also a strong advocate in the media on behalf of Main Street. Working with the Job Creators Network, she has helped educate Americans about the benefits of healthcare reform rooted in choice and affordability, as well as shined a spotlight on the consequences of injecting more government into the system. The recognition from the Senate Small Business Committee is well-deserved.
