Job Creators Network Launches Six-Figure Tax Cuts Ad Campaign in Maine

Ads feature Maine small business owners explaining benefits of proposed federal tax cuts

Washington, D.C. — Today, the Job Creators Network launched a six-figure advertisement campaign in Maine featuring three commercials to run in heavy rotation on cable news in the Bangor metropolitan area and online in the entire state. The ads feature Maine small business owners explaining what tax cuts would mean for their businesses, employees, and communities. Small businesses make up 96.8 percent of all businesses in Maine.

1.) Mary Schiavoni, Owner of Chewy Tubes in Saco, Maine—a company that develops tools for children to use in speech therapy. Watch her story here.

2.) Paul Lancisi, CEO of Dove Tail Bat Company in Shirley, Maine—a producer of little league baseball bats. Watch his story here.

3.) Chuck Feaga, CEO and President of Maine Aero Services in Bangor, Maine—an aircraft maintenance business. Watch his story here.

The campaign seeks to energize grass roots support for proposed tax cuts currently before Congress and convince Maine’s federal representatives to support them. The campaign is part of JCN’s ongoing multi-million dollar campaign called Tax Cuts Now, which aims to convince lawmakers to pass long overdue tax relief for American small businesses by the end of the year.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

“Americans from coast to coast would benefit from federal tax cuts and small businesses in Maine are no exception. These real-life stories explaining how tax cuts would benefit Maine’s small businesses, employees, and communities demonstrate the vital need to pass tax cuts now. In the ongoing debate about tax rates and income thresholds it’s easy to forget that the real beneficiaries of tax cuts are hardworking Americans looking to keep a little more of their earnings to cover life’s growing expenses.”
