Job Creators Network Launches Multi-Million Dollar Tax Cuts Work Campaign

The major initiative will highlight how tax cuts are working to grow the economy and benefit small businesses and their employees through wage increases, job creation, and business expansion

Washington, D.C.—Today, the Job Creators Network (JCN) launched a new multi-million dollar campaign aimed at educating the public on the benefits of the recent tax cuts legislation—passed and signed into law in December. The campaign will highlight how financial savings from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will help small businesses and give them the opportunity to hire more people, raise wages, invest in new equipment, and grow their operations.

The campaign will include a nationwide bus tour, a letter thanking members of Congress who voted for the bill and the Administration for tax relief, profile videos of small business owners that have benefited from the tax bill, a portal for small business owners to tell their stories about how tax cuts have impacted their businesses, as well as substantial television, radio, and digital advertising.

All of these elements will be housed on the dedicated Tax Cuts Work website, TaxCutsWork.com. Visit the website here.

The launch follows closely behind a new national poll of small business owners—conducted by JCN—that reveals strong support for the tax cuts legislation. The poll finds that 68 percent of small business owners view the new tax bill favorably and well over a margin of four-to-one say the measures will help their business.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

Just as we worked hard to achieve a legislative victory for small business tax cuts, we now must win the debate about its benefits in the court of public opinion. It’s important that we combat biased main stream media and educate the public on the positive impacts that the tax cuts package is having on Main Streets across the country and our economy more broadly. That is what the Tax Cuts Work campaign is all about.
