Job Creators Network Hosts Round Table in Pittsburgh Area on Small Business Economy

SBA Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator & JCN Members Discuss Challenges & Successes Faced by Entrepreneurs

Gibsonia, PA (September 19, 2019) –Today, the Job Creators Network (JCN) hosted a round table discussion on the small business economy featuring Michelle Christian, Mid-Atlantic Regional Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and JCN members. They discussed the challenges and successes faced by entrepreneurs and the importance of good public policy to encourage growth and create jobs.

“Building on the success of the Trump Administration’s economic policies requires a strong and active dialogue between policymakers and job creators, like the one we experienced today,” said Elaine Parker, President of the Job Creators Network Foundation, who moderated the round table. “Regional Administrator Christian and the Trump Administration deserve tremendous credit for their commitment to America’s small business owners and entrepreneurs, which is a welcome change from the previous administration. JCN members have experienced the benefits of the Trump Administration’s pro-growth policies, including tax cuts and deregulation, in order to expand, invest, and create new jobs.  The dialogue we experienced today is exactly what’s needed to keep our economic momentum going, while addressing urgent challenges, like the skills gap and rising healthcare costs.”

In addition to Regional Administrator Christian, today’s panelists were Guy Berkebile, President, Guy Chemical Company Inc.U.S. Small Business Administration; Rose Morris, Owner, Abram’s Nation, LLC (best known for their safety beds for special needs children); and Mike Weber, Chairman, Smith Provision Company, Inc.
