Job Creators Network Foundation Files Amicus Brief With Supreme Court To Stop Corporate Transparency Act

Today, Job Creators Network Foundation filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court to stop the Corporate Transparency Act from taking effect.

Read the amicus brief, prepared by the Mountain States Legal Foundation, here. This is the third amicus brief JCNF has submitted to stop this law and protect small businesses.

Elaine Parker, president of Job Creators Network Foundation, released the following statement:

“The Corporate Transparency Act is unprecedented executive overreach, and the district and appeals courts are correct to block it. The CTA threatens millions of ordinary small businesses with large fines and even jail time for noncompliance. Making matters worse, JCNF polling finds nearly two-thirds of small businesses don’t even know about this law and its requirements. The Supreme Court should block this last-minute attempt by the Biden administration to overturn the injunction and reinstate this anti-small business law. It should stand up for small businesses against this latest — and potentially last — Biden administration assault.”
