Job Creators Network: Democratic Debate Shows “Scary” Obsession with Socialism

Washington, DC (June 26, 2019) – Tonight, ten Democrats running for President squared off in the first debate of the 2020 campaign.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN) released the following statement.

“If you’re a job creator or someone who cares about our economy, this was a scary debate. Led by Liz Warren, the Democrats running for President showed they are completely out of touch when it comes the state of our economy and how free-market policies are responsible for our prosperity. The Democrats talked a lot about growing the government, but they didn’t talk at all about how to empower entrepreneurs and job creators to grow and innovate. The Democrats’ growing obsession with socialist ideas, including ‘Medicare for All’ and ‘free college,’ is a recipe for economic disaster. Instead, we should be advancing the Trump Administration’s pro-growth policies that are creating millions of jobs, bolstering wages, and breaking stock market records.”

During Thursday’s debate, JCN will air a uniquely powerful TV ad featuring a survivor of socialism: Dina Rubio, a Florida small business owner and JCN member who fled socialist Nicaragua during the 1980’s and is now deeply concerned about the Democrats’ socialist agenda. The 60-second ad gives a personal touch and will run in Miami on Telemundo and in Washington, DC on MSNBC during the debate. To watch the ad, click here.
