Job Creators Network Corrects Biden’s Record in Covid-19 Speech in Delaware

Washington, DC (September 16, 2020) — Today, Joe Biden spoke at a campaign stop in Delaware. In his remarks, Biden attacked President Trump on the pandemic and the economy.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:

“In his Covid-19 speech today, Joe Biden suggested that he was better on the economy than President Trump. He obviously hasn’t been paying attention. Before the Covid-19 crisis hit, the Trump administration delivered historically low unemployment rates, including record lows for minorities and women. Under President Trump, wage and economic growth were also significantly faster than when Biden was vice president, especially for minorities and low-income Americans. Voters know that by sticking with President Trump, the U.S. economy can quickly rebound to its pre-Covid heights. Under a Biden administration, it would return to the slow growth performance under Obama.

In his remarks, Biden tried again to pin the blame for this disease on President Trump. Yet things would have been far worse under a Biden administration. Biden called Trump’s bold and lifesaving move to ban travel from China “xenophobic.” President Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” is also on the verge of creating a vaccine in record time. This achievement is thanks to President Trump’s unparalleled leadership and deregulatory efforts. Joe Biden is no leader and never met a regulation he didn’t like. If he were president, the country would still be dawdling toward a vaccine, hamstrung by Biden’s incompetence, blustering, and regulatory agenda. Because of President Trump, the country is poised to rebound from this foreign virus stronger than ever.”
