Job Creators Network Congratulates Trump for Opposing Tax Hike Proposal

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to President Trump’s opposition to tax increases:

“Once again, President Trump is standing up for small businesses by rejecting misguided calls to increase taxes on top job creators. Raising taxes on successful entrepreneurs would have significantly harmed Main Streets and small business competitiveness nationwide, reducing their ability to drive economic growth and create jobs. Trump understands that caving to Democrat and left-wing media talking points is no way to successfully advance pro-growth legislation to expand and make permanent his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

“Job Creators Network was proud to play a key role in this fight and will continue to educate proponents of tax hikes about their negative impacts on our local communities and economic opportunity. So-called populists who support tax hikes don’t seem to understand how job creation and economic growth actually work. There’s already a party for those who support tax hikes; it’s called the Democrat Party.”
