Job Creators Network Congratulates Elon Musk on his Acquisition of Twitter

Washington, DC (April 25, 2022) – Today, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has reached a deal with Twitter Inc. to purchase the social media network for $44 billion. Mr. Musk’s initial offer was rejected and the proposition was highly debated, primarily over the merits of free speech and censorship on the website.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement reacting to the news:

“At JCN we’re excited to hear that Elon Musk is purchasing Twitter. Like so many other conservatives on the social media site JCN had suffered an undue suspension at the hands of Twitter’s partisan bias, despite not breaking any of its terms and conditions. While we were able to eventually get our account back, there are multitudes of conservatives who were not as lucky as JCN.

“Elon Musk has been very vocal in his support for free speech on Twitter, we hope that he brings those values to the boardroom. We’re optimistic that unlike Twitter’s prior leadership, Musk will see Twitter as the virtual ‘town square’ it is, and not as weapon for silencing political opponents.”
