Job Creators Network Condemns Democrats’ Election Power Grab

Washington — Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to Congressional Democrats’ attempt to pass legislation to federalize elections:

“Once again, Democrats are trying to hijack elections in a federal takeover. Their shameless power grab is designed to give Democrats a leg up in future elections. They propose turning the Attorney General into an ‘Election Czar’ who would have the power to review and approve all existing voter ID laws, mandate the hours and locations for voting polling places, and accept ballots as late as a week after Election Day. Democrats are subverting democracy while claiming to defend it.”
