Job Creators Network Commends House Small Business Committee for Holding Regulatory Relief Hearing

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on Wednesday’s House Small Business Committee’s hearing on the Biden administration’s overregulation and its consequences to small businesses:

“On behalf of America’s 33 million small businesses, Job Creators Network commends the House Small Business Committee for holding a hearing to protect small businesses from overregulation. The Biden administration is currently in the midst of a regulatory onslaught that disproportionately hurts small businesses. The hearing shows how the Regulatory Flexibility Act is not working as advertised and why it’s vital that Congress passes the Prove It Act to provide small businesses with real regulatory relief. JCN worked with Sen Joni Ernst to introduce this legislation in the Senate and recently sent a letter to House leadership urging swift passage. Today’s hearing is an important step forward in advancing such solutions to Democrats’ overregulation that hurts American job creators and the economy as a whole.”
