Job Creators Network Commends House Small Business Committee for Calling Out Agency Noncompliance with Regulatory Flexibility Act
Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement supporting the House Small Business Committee’s efforts to hold agencies accountable for noncompliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act:
“The House Small Business Committee is standing up for American small businesses by holding agencies accountable for ignoring the Regulatory Flexibility Act. For too long, agencies have ignored the RFA, which requires them to consider the disproportionate impact of regulations on small businesses, and treated the RFA as merely a box-checking exercise. The committee’s recent report and hearing definitively show the troubling pattern of agency noncompliance and the urgent need for legislative reform such as the Prove It Act to truly protect small businesses from overregulation.”
