Job Creators Network Celebrates National Small Business Week
Washington, DC (May 1, 2022) – This week is “National Small Business Week.”
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:
“National Small Business Week is an opportunity to recognize the tens of millions of entrepreneurs who embody the American Dream by owning a small business, create two out of three jobs, and employ a community of 90 million Americans. This is a challenging time for our community. Of those small businesses that were negatively impacted by the pandemic, only 13 percent have fully recovered, according to the latest Job Creators Network Foundation’s (JCNF) Small Business IQ monthly poll. Inflation is a growing menace, with small businesses disproportionately impacted by the highest inflation rate in four decades. The Biden Administration should be celebrating our entrepreneurs, but instead it’s making their job harder than ever – spending record amounts of money, imposing new mandates, and proposing new taxes. The Administration should be looking at the states for a better model on how to manage the economy. Job Creators Network recently launched the seven-figure ‘Great Opportunity Project’ to highlight the success of free-market policies in conservative-led states. Our goal is to change the broader national debate over the economy and rally people around a positive, constructive agenda for prosperity. Our small business community deserves that debate and better solutions.”
