Job Creators Network Calls on Fed to Chart Rate Cut Path and for Governor Cook to Resign

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the Federal Reserve’s meeting today and tomorrow in Jackson Hole:

“As the Federal Reserve gathers this week in Jackson Hole, it has an opportunity to finally acknowledge what small businesses and working families already know: inflation has cooled, credit is too tight, and interest rates are strangling growth. It’s time to stop the damage and chart a rate cut path now. Every day the Fed waits means more entrepreneurs denied loans, more homeowners locked out of the housing market, and more paychecks stretched thin.

“But the credibility of the Fed itself is also on the line. Reports of mortgage application fraud by Fed Governor Lisa Cook are deeply troubling. At a time when Americans need confidence that the Fed is acting with integrity and sound judgment, such ethical lapses are unacceptable. Governor Cook should resign to preserve what little public trust the Fed has left.”
