Job Creators Network Calls on Dem Leadership to Release Details of their Tax Plan

Washington, DC (February 1, 2018) – Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of Job Creators Network, urged congressional Democrats to make public the details of a tax plan they are promising to pass after repealing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

“Many of their own constituents have already benefited from the tax cuts, and many more will see bigger paychecks in the coming weeks,” said Ortiz. “If Democrats are promising to take that away, then Americans deserve to know more about their plan before the election.”

Democrats are apparently planning to run in the fall on a promise to repeal the landmark tax cuts signed into law only weeks ago. Scores of companies have already announced bonuses and wage increases benefiting millions of American workers.

“These are substantial bonuses and pay raises for average workers. They’re not ‘crumbs,’ said Ortiz. “This is a very curious political strategy to promise Americans to take away their bonuses and pay raises.

“Small business owners and their employees are owed more than just the vague political promise of a better deal. We want to see the details,” he continued.
