Job Creators Network Applauds Senate Republicans for Stopping Pelosi Power Grab

Washington, DC (November 3, 2021) — Today, the Senate failed to advance the Pelosi Power Grab, as Senate Republicans voted against the bill.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:

“President Biden and Democrats in Congress have been persistent in their attempts to take over state elections by way of federal power grabs. I can only imagine that seeing the results of the Virginia and New Jersey elections have increased this desire. Republicans in the Senate shut down the Freedom to Cheat Act in October and we applaud them again for shutting down the Pelosi Power Grab today. Among many other things designed to slant elections in the Democrats’ favor, this bill would give liberal politicians the power to reverse state-level election integrity reforms. This bill would have put states like Georgia, Florida and Texas in danger. We all saw the woke outrage when Georgia strengthened the integrity of their elections. We also saw the damage done by the Left’s lies about it, including the sudden removal of Atlanta’s MLB All-Star Game which cost the community about $100 million in revenue. JCN put woke corporations on notice by suing the MLB in response, highlighting the economics ramification of misguided wokeness.”
